Ruby Jack is one of those girls you meet and instantly feel like you’ve known her forever. She’s down-to-earth, effortlessly beautiful, and brought such a joyful presence to her senior session that I honestly didn’t want the evening to end!
We shot her photos just outside of Paris, Texas, in the dreamiest field full of golden light and soft summer glow — and it was perfect for her. She showed up completely herself — confident, graceful, and glowing — and it made every frame feel like her.
If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I believe your senior photos should be about more than just pretty pictures. They should feel like you. They should tell your story, mark this milestone, and give you something to hold onto when life starts to speed up.
Ruby’s session was such a sweet reminder of that. Her kindness, her calm confidence, her light — it all came through in the images because she allowed space for the experience to unfold naturally. That’s one of the things I love most about working with seniors like her — we get to create something that feels real and worth remembering.
To my upcoming Class of 2026 seniors (and their parents!): senior year flies. I know you’ve heard it before, but it’s true. Between college applications, football games, and all the “lasts,” the months slip by quickly. Your senior photos are one of the few things you’ll have forever to look back on — not just to see how you looked, but to remember how this season felt.
I craft each session to be an experience — relaxed, fun, meaningful — and every detail is intentional. You’re not just booking a photographer; you’re investing in a memory, in images that you’ll love now and 20 years from now.
Ruby Jack, thank you for trusting me with your story. I absolutely loved spending the evening with you and your sweet spirit, and I’m so excited to see where life takes you next. You’re going to do big things — I just know it.
