Lexxi’s graduation session was one of those evenings that just felt golden — light breeze, glowy sunshine, and a girl who absolutely owned every minute in front of the camera.
We shot her session on campus at East Texas A&M University, and right from the start, I knew this was going to be a good one. Lexxi walked up in this stunning blue dress that instantly gave me major Blair Waldorf energy — think classic, elegant, and effortlessly stylish. If you know, you know. 👑 It was the perfect choice for the first half of her session and looked incredible against the timeless architecture and greenery around campus.
She looked every bit the accomplished grad — poised, confident, glowing — but also so present. She wasn’t rushing through it or overly posed. She was in the moment, celebrating everything she’s worked for. And y’all… that’s the magic.
About halfway through, Lexxi switched things up into her second look: a tee and jeans — something completely her. This wasn’t just a cute outfit change either… it was a nod to her actual fieldwork with gamebird research.
Yes, you read that right. This girl has been out there doing the real work, boots on the ground, chasing down her passion in the most hands-on way. I have so much admiration for grads who bring that part of themselves into their sessions. Your degree is so much more than what you wore on stage — it’s what you lived through to earn it. Lexxi brought both sides of her college story — the polished and the personal — and I loved every bit of it.
College graduation photos aren’t just about marking the end of school — they’re about capturing who you are in this exact season of life. For Lexxi, that meant celebrating her accomplishments and honoring the path that got her here. It was joyful and emotional, stylish and grounded, all rolled into one session that felt completely, beautifully her.
Lexxi, thank you for letting me be a small part of this huge moment. You are smart, stunning, and so clearly passionate about what you do. I know big things are ahead, and I’m cheering you on every step of the way.
To the soon-to-be grads reading this: your story deserves to be celebrated. Whether you’re walking across a stage in heels or walking through the woods in boots — bring it all. Your grad session should feel personal, meaningful, and you. Let’s make it an experience worth remembering
